ROSUVOR is indicated as an adjunct to diet when the response to diet and exercise is inadequate for the following conditions:

– Primary hypercholesterolaemia

– Isolated hypertriglyceridaemia (including heterozygous familial hypercholesterolaemia; and

– Fredrickson classification (Type IIa, IIb and IV)

– Homozygous familial hypercholesterolaemia

When patients suffering from severe hypercholesterolaemia and high cardiovascular risk and do not achieve the treatment goals on 20 mg ROSUVOR or alternative therapy only then should ROSUVOR 40 mg be considered. It is advised that specialist supervision is undertaken when the 40 mg dose is initiated.
